Contact for privacy and information requests
Email info@trinitytracing.co.za with the subject “Privacy / PAIA — for the Information Officer”, or call 012 001 5076 to confirm the appropriate submission arrangements. State your name, preferred response channel and a brief description of the request. Avoid sending sensitive supporting records before the correct delivery channel is confirmed.
POPIA requests
You can ask about personal information concerning you and request access, correction or deletion where applicable. You may also raise an objection or withdraw consent where relevant. Explain which record or activity concerns you and the outcome you seek. Trinity may need to verify your identity or authority before disclosing information.
Where Trinity acts for a client that is responsible for the information, the request may need to be referred to that client. Rights are subject to applicable legal limits and do not automatically entitle a requester to another person’s confidential information.
Use the Information Regulator’s POPIA forms and guidance for current objection, correction, deletion and complaint procedures.
Requests for records under PAIA
PAIA provides a process to request records held by a private body that are needed to exercise or protect a right. Complete the prescribed PAIA Form 2 — Request for Access to Record (PDF). Identify the record, the right involved and why the record is required. Follow the form’s identity and representative-authority requirements.
Request confirmation of Trinity’s Information Officer or head-of-body contact details and submission arrangements. Applicable fees, refusal grounds and response periods are governed by PAIA. The Regulator’s PAIA guide explains the process.
Company PAIA manual
This page is an access-request guide, not Trinity’s section 51 PAIA manual. Contact Trinity for information about its company-specific manual and responsible contact. The Regulator’s general forms and templates are not a substitute for that manual.
Complaints
Privacy concerns may be taken to the Information Regulator under POPIA. For an access refusal or failure to respond, see the PAIA complaint process and official PAIA forms. Follow the applicable time limits. General regulator enquiries: enquiries@inforegulator.org.za or 010 023 5200.
